Collide Weekend 2012 February 17-19

Collide is a weekend discipleship event for students that takes place each year in February.  This is a time of Bible study, worship, and discipleship for our students.  They will spend the weekend in homes of church members living with other students their age and exploring God’s Word together.  This year we will be studying all about the Bible…how it was written, who wrote it, why it’s true, what it means, and how we can understand it.

What Does a Prayer Mentor to a Youth do ?

You will be expected to

1. Pray for your student daily.
2. Call your student once a week to see what is going on with them and ask how you can pray for them.
3. Interact with your student as much as possible while at church.
4. LOVE your student!

Mission Statement

The Nassau Bay Student Ministry exists to lead students and their families to realize the joy of a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ, and what it means to walk with Him on a daily basis.

Our weekly meetings include Sunday Morning Youth Bible Study at 9:40 AM and a Wednesday night meeting called Common Grounds from 6:30 - 8:00 PM.

We also hold events such as U-TURN weekend, Godly Guy - Godly Girl Weekend, Father/Daughter Valentine Banquet, Summer Youth Camp, Youth VBS (aka Wild Week), and other small group activities. In addition, there are Mission Trips and Choir Tours involving Evangelism, Ministry and Love which are the three things students experience as they reach out to other people in different parts of the United States as well as abroad.
