Mission Statement
The Nassau Bay Student Ministry exists to lead students and their families to realize the joy of a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ, and what it means to walk with Him on a daily basis.
Our weekly meetings include Sunday Morning Youth Bible Study at 9:40 AM and a Wednesday night meeting called Common Grounds from 6:30 - 8:00 PM.
We also hold events such as U-TURN weekend, Godly Guy - Godly Girl Weekend, Father/Daughter Valentine Banquet, Summer Youth Camp, Youth VBS (aka Wild Week), and other small group activities. In addition, there are Mission Trips and Choir Tours involving Evangelism, Ministry and Love which are the three things students experience as they reach out to other people in different parts of the United States as well as abroad.

Youth Choir
Youth Choir rehearses on Sunday evenings after the worship service. You do not have to be a member of the church and there is no audition to sing in this group. As with the Adoration Choir, we always encourage anyone who is interested in music and worship to begin in this choir.
NBBC is also home to the youth vocal ensemble With His Voice.

Youth Fine Arts
Youth Fine Arts is a group of 7th thru 12th students who meet Sunday Night 5:30 - 7pm. All students spend some time together as a full choir learning musical elements and reasons for worship. Then we break into auditioned/selected groups. Currently, we offer:
With His Voice - An auditioned vocal ensemble tackling more difficult vocal music
At His Feet - Auditioned/Selected drama team rehearsing and performing a wide variety of Christ-focused skits as well as verbal and non-verbal acting.
By His Hands - Interest-based group of students who learn the arts puppeting. This group enjoys leading in major church musicals as well as performing for small groups. |
