SonShiner Day Trip
SonShiner's will leave the church at 8 AM, Saturday, March 27th to go to Washington-On-The-Brazos one of Texas' most significant historic places. It was here where the Texas Declaration of Independence was signed. They will see Independence Hall, bluebonnets in full bloom, and Barrington Farm, a working farm with live exhibitions. Price is $12, plus bring a sack lunch for a picnic on the Brazos River. |
This Choir is directly connected to the "Sonshiners" Senior Adult (50 years old and over) ministry of our church. The choir meets during the Sonshiners' monthly meeting on the 2nd Tuesday morning of each month at 10:00 a.m., and then as a choir only meeting on the first and third Tuesday morning of each month, also at 10:00 a.m.
This group occasionally sings for special worship services and performs at area retirement homes during Christmas and Easter. We have a lot of fun and give our very best to worship as we sing and lift up the name of Jesus.
