Let the good times BOWL! Friday, February 24th, Club 56 will have one our favorite fellowships of the year. Pizza and bowling! Who could ask for more? We will meet at Angelo's Pizza & Pasta for pizza and then walk to AMF Lanes, which is right behind Angelo's. Kids should be dropped off at Angleo's at 6:00pm and picked up from AMF at 8:30pm. Cost is $10.00 per kid. If your child has a Club 56 t-shirt, please encourage them to wear it. If not, then now would be a GREAT time to buy one. It's a walking advertisement for God and NBBC. Club 56 is the preteen division that combines the 5th and 6th graders at Nassau Bay Baptist Church. Club 56 gives these kids a place to gather to study and learn the word of God, as well as many fellowships throughout the year and ministries to those in the church and beyond. Some of the favorite fellowships has been the pizza & bowling night, riding go-karts and the annual Christmas party. New this year is the change to the FLYTE curriculum licensed through LifeWay. This new study focuses on the application of Chirstianity in everyday life. Please be involved with your preteens as they study this new material and develop questions that will need to be answered. They very close to the teenage years and now is the time to solidify their Christianity and church attendance habits and involvement.
Club 56 raises the study level for the kids to prepare them for their witness in the world. It gives them guidance and strength to be lights in the world. |
